چکیده
Abstract This is a companion paper to [DR1]. Using the method of continuous renormalization group around the Fermi surface and the results of [DR1], we achieve the proof that a two-dimensional jellium system of interacting Fermions at low temperature T is a Fermi liquid above the BCS temperature Following [S1], this means proving analyticity in the coupling constant λ for |λ|| logT | ≤ K where K is some numerical constant, and some uniform bounds on the derivatives of the self-energy.

Interacting Fermi liquid in three dimensions at finite temperature: Part I: Convergent Contributions
Abstract In this paper we complete the first step, namely the uniform bound on completely convergent contributions, towards proving that a three dimensional interacting system of Fermions is a Fermi liquid in the sense of Salmhofer. The analysis relies on a direct space decomposition of the propagator, on a bosonic multiscale cluster expansion and on the Hadamard inequality, rather than on a Fe...
متن کاملVariational Calculations for the Relativistic Interacting Fermion System at Finite Temperature: Application to Liquid 3He
In this paper, at first we have formulated the lowest order constrained variational method for the relativistic case of an interacting fermion system at finite temperature. Then we have used this formalism to calculate some thermodynamic properties of liquid in the relativistic regime. The results show that the difference between total energies of relativistic and non-relativistic cases of liqu...
متن کامل2 00 5 Fermi liquid behavior in the 2 D Hubbard model at low temperatures
We prove that the weak coupling 2D Hubbard model away from half filling is a Landau Fermi liquid up to exponentially small temperatures. In particular we show that the wave function renormalization is an order 1 constant and essentially temperature independent in the considered range of temperatures and that the interacting Fermi surface is a regular convex curve. This result is obtained by der...
متن کاملMarginal Fermi Liquid Behaviour in the Hubbard Model with Cut-off
1. We consider the half-filled Hubbard model with a cutoff forbidding momenta close to the angles of the square shaped Fermi surface. By Renormalization Group methods we find a convergent expansion for the Schwinger function up to exponentially small temperatures. We prove that the system is not a Fermi liquid, but on the contrary it behaves like a Marginal Fermi liquid, a behaviour observed in...
متن کاملNon Fermi liquid renormalization of the conductivity
The method of the quantum kinetic equation is applied to the problem of renormalization of the conductivity of normal metals by gauge electron-electron interactions. It is shown that in the three-dimensional case the relativistic electromagnetic interaction (vector interaction of electrons with transverse photons) leads to an unusual temperature dependence, indicating a deviation from the Fermi...
